Introducing a new, gentle technique with whole body benefits
This is a wonderfully gentle acupuncture or acupressure (without needles) technique that delivers rapid relief from many aches, pains, and ailments.
Perfect for children, elderly patients, or for those who prefer a needle-less treatment option.
New to Energia Vital, Korean Hand Therapy (KHT) is a powerful therapy that affects the whole body through treatment performed only on the hands.
KHT was presented to the public in South Korea in 1975 by Dr Tae Woo Yoo after 5 years of research, when he developed a treatment based on the findings that the hands are a miniature of the entire body.
KHT is a unique and versatile style of micro reflex acupuncture or acupressure and can be practised both invasive(with needles) and non-invasive (without needles) and can be used to prevent, maintain and treat all the modern diseases and disorders that body acupuncture and other therapies such as reflexology and aromatherapy are used for.
The reaction to treatments with KHT is rapid and the effect on certain disorders is overwhelming.
Trained by Jong Baik Education, I am integrating in my clinic KHT with traditional body acupuncture and other therapies such as Reiki, ear acupuncture, reflexology or therapeutic energy kinesiology (TEK).
Another advantage of KHT is that the therapist can make use of a number of different methods of treatment, for example, very small needles are inserted only about a millimetre on the skin, being virtually painless or, instead of needles, small acupressure pellets are taped to the skin. Special Moxibustion (heat) cones can be applied to points on the patient’s hands without burning the skin.
